To some, my work may barely breach the margins of “jewelry”. However, I create it with intent to be something much more. With metal pouring over scapula and knuckle bones, ornamenting spines and carpal bones, it’s hardly your ordinary handed-down family heirloom. My inspirations trickle out from cephalopods to mechanical debris swirling in the floral baroque of a network that is our planet. With my own personal style and modern transformations on the ancient metal art form, I, Cabrina Channing attempting to pave new venues for the metal art world in a community begging for obscurity.
